So if you set your controls for automatic transmission but are actually playing with manual you'll be using different controls. You should see the different pages up top in the controller settings. 1. Sean0fTheDead82.
The game may not reflect laws on a country by country basis, so what the law is IRL doesn't much matter. Bottom line, keep headlights high or low beam (not parking lights) on 24/7 and just don't worry about it. The "Headlight Usage Offense" is only for not having lights on when required. Any other state is irrelevant.
Euro Truck Simulator 2 how to turn on the additional and normal headlights The headlights are controlled with the L key and successive presses of the latter toggle the headlights in different modes. To switch to high beam, use the -K key, pressing it alternately each time will change low beam to high beam. 5 days ago ยท The fog lights activate when using low beams; to turn them on, simply start the truck and press the โ€œLโ€ key or the corresponding shortcut for Low Beam. The illuminated distance provided by the fog lights remains the same as the truckโ€™s headlights. I plan to change this in the future.
I have never ever had a fine for using normal headlights at night. One press brings on the running lights and the second press brings on the Normal Headlights which is what your supposed to have on. If you don't press "L" the second time you won't have your normal Low Beam headlights on !
We are happy to announce that the 1.49 update for Euro Truck Simulator 2 has been released and is now available on Steam. This update contains bug fixes, changes and new content, which are featured below, so we recommend having a read! We'd like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who participated, provided their feedback, and made bug The offense is for NOT having your headlights on. The first press of L turns on your running lights, the second turns on your headlights. For right turn on red, you need to have your indicator on before you reach the line and you must stay within your lane. #3. Mashed Buddha Dec 21, 2018 @ 2:49pm. It is really needed in both truck sims.!! In case you didn't already know, this was requested a long, long time (years) ago in ets2 too. Although saying that I could've sworn when maybe twice, the AI has flashed it's lighs to let me know i'm good to go. But, that was looking in my mirrors and it could've just been down to a lod' thing going
You are not getting fines for using DRL, you are getting fines for not using at least low beams (there is no fine for high beam use). Regardless of what the local laws are in any country (the game doesn't seem to know, anyway), the simple solution wherever you are is as @Wolfgang says above, if your engine is running, have headlights (not DRL) turned on.
Lets see some very useful console commands for Euro truck Simulator 2.Change Time in ETS2. Change Weather in ETS2Change Sky box in ETS2 Change Debug camera Okay. I tested it without headlights. Just to be sure. No headlights, and dim headlights, produce the same result. As you can get in serious trouble driving around with your brights on all the time where I live, I don't understand why you're expected to drive with your brights on all the time. Sure, brights allow you to see better. .
